PROJECT SUMMARY: SHIBE DRIVE MAGAZINE
This is an E-magazine aimed at showcasing and amplifying efforts in fighting hunger
and alleviating poverty through sustainable food systems in Coast Region.
DESCRIPTION
Seeking to recruit a videographer with at least 2 to 5 years of experience in shooting
and editing videos revolving around the above-mentioned areas to be in charge of
producing videos for the Shibe Drive Magazine.
Main tasks:
Under the coordination of the communication department, he/she will be responsible to:
Work with the project’s team to identify people-centered stories and ensure
participant’s and communities’ buy-in.
Plan the shooting of the activities organized for Shibe Drive
Shoot the activities and participants’ stories using the best equipment possible
Work with the Content Writer to form an interesting unique storyboard to
highlight emerging issues in coast regions’ food systems.
Edit the videos, highlighting the stories of the participants as a way to call for
action from responsible parties.
Ensure timely shooting, editing, and delivery of the videos by coordinating with
the communication department
Provide insights on the best practices in videography
Use ethical, context, and conflict-sensitive approaches in the communities
Any other duty as assigned by the communication department in line with key
duties.
Experience required:
Strong communication skills
Proficiency in English oral and written
Excellent proven shooting and editing skills
Experience in developing and releasing video content about social change
Willingness and ability to be flexible
